Susan Williams is the Founder of HR Choice and serves as a consultant and co-owner for the firm. Susan has spent the last thirty years as a business owner and executive human resource consultant. Her experience spans all facets of human resource management while specializing in the support of small and mid-sized business leaders developing and executing on mission critical human capital strategies and tactics. Her philosophy is to support our clients in all phases of the people side of their business from transactional to transformational.
Prior to starting her own business in 1985 Susan spent several years with Mountain Bell, US West and AT&T. She held several key executive leadership positions in human resources and customer service. From 2008-2012 Susan also served as the Vice President of Human Resources for Phoenix-based Adreima, Inc. where she started as a consultant with HR Choice and a human resources business partner in 2004 before joining the company full-time in 2008 to support the company’s leadership through explosive growth and M&A activity.
With a passion for small business, Susan is a past recipient of the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Small Business Owner of the Year award, past chair of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Small Business Leadership Council and has also served on the Executive Board of Directors for the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.
While Susan handles clients across all HR Choice markets, she is located in Denver, CO.
Tracy Morrissey, SHRM-SCP
A self-proclaimed, “HR, Culture and Leadership Junkie”, with a personal mission to “reinvent the way humans experience work,” Tracy Morrissey gets her fix in a variety of roles as consultant and co-owner for HR Choice. In particular, she specializes in the areas of business management, human resource strategy development, establishing and implementing human resource policy and practices, and high performance leadership development.
In her past Tracy held a variety of leadership positions in Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Customer Operations, and Talent/Leadership Management at TW Telecom, Time Warner Communications, US West and PB Loco. She is a multifaceted and well-respected leader with demonstrated successes in business planning, strategic and tactical human resources management, sales/business development and manager/leader training and development. Her extensive experience working in and with start-ups, small, and large corporate businesses uniquely prepares her to understand and appreciate the challenges and opportunities of HR Choice’s clients. Tracy is located in Denver, CO.
Located in our Denver, CO office, Christie Doherty, Vice President of Client Services and Senior Business Consultant, specializes in organizational and leadership development, strategic planning, and workforce transformation. Christie is especially sought for her ability to assess and align corporate culture and business and talent strategies for progressive organizations focused on bottom-line results. Her extensive corporate and non-profit experiences have given her a unique perspective of the challenges and opportunities of leadership in small and large for-profit and non-profit firms.
Former Vice President, Wholesale Service Delivery at Qwest, Christie had responsibility for Customer Service Operations for Wholesale customers, managing over 1,700 employees with revenue responsibility for $3.2 billion. She held a number of executive positions in the telecom and cable industries, including Strategic Planning, Customer Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Organization Effectiveness. Christie is also the former CEO of The Leadership Investment, a non-profit focused on gender equality and the advancement of women in business. Active in the community, Christie is a Board member of a variety of local and national non-profits focused on hunger and poverty; education; diversity; leadership; and the advancement and support of women. She is the recipient of the US West Chairman’s Award for Leadership, the Women’s Leader of Excellence Award, and the Woman of Vision Award.
Marygrace Ohab, Senior Consultant, has held Human Resource leadership positions for over thirty years. Her ability to build strong client relationships, and assess, develop, and implement HR solutions that have a sustained impact on business results has earned the trust of HR Choice clients over the last 10+ years.
Prior to her association with HR Choice, Marygrace was the Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager at Medtronic Microelectronics Center in Tempe, AZ. Marygrace served in HR leadership roles at Motorola and Freescale Semiconductor that included Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, EEO/Affirmative Action, and Global Diversity & Inclusion.
As Director of Global Diversity at Motorola, Marygrace led the design and implementation of a global organizational change process that was widely benchmarked and acknowledged as best-in-class. The results were showcased on CBS Evening News, in numerous articles and publications, and are captured in White Men, Women and Minorities in the Changing Workforce by Dr. Anthony Ipsaro.
Marygrace has served on numerous teams, boards, and projects including the Technology Workforce Partnership, INROADS, Maricopa County Community Advisory Board, and one n ten. Marygrace was awarded Motorola’s Diversity Leadership Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award, and was a 1994 Athena Award finalist for outstanding leadership.

She has built a solid reputation of being a trusted advisor and valuable business partner earned across diverse industries including financial, cable, food services, software and telecommunications.
In partnership with management and employees, she leads organizations in creating extraordinary performance. Her ability to listen to others and share critical observations is essential for successful results. Joan believes that making an investment in people has a direct correlation to being a differentiator for companies in their competitive industry marketplace.
Joan is an experienced HR professional who has had the opportunity to lead all disciplines of human resources. She also has merger and acquisition background after personally experiencing nine acquisitions throughout her career.
Companies like Level 3 Communications, tw telecom, Webroot Software, JD Edwards and PeopleSoft (now Oracle), Reiss Media, and Time Warner Cable have all benefitted from her expertise and insight.
A native of Denver, Colorado, she now resides in Glendale, Arizona. She is a graduate of the University of Phoenix and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Joan attended the University of Denver Executive Education program developed for Level 3. Additionally, she has numerous affiliations and certifications in leadership coaching and team effectiveness training, analysis and coaching. Joan is a Board Member for The Casa Center for Positive Social Change.

Jonathan comes to HR Choice by way of the restaurant industry where he was the Director of Operations with a large national franchise.
Jonathan specializes in supporting our clients in all areas of HR Administration and has first-hand experience and expertise with creating HR processes and systems for businesses to include process design and documentation, payroll system selection and implementation and compliance audits/controls. Jonathan is gifted at leveraging technology to support clients in making the HR function seamless and user friendly for both management and employees.
His real world experience in business management combined with his HR experience is highly valued in his work with our clients. He enjoys working side by side with clients and creating positive long-lasting relationships.
Jonathan has a degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado and is located in our Denver office.
Kellen Morrissey, SHRM-CP
Kellen Morrissey is a consultant specializing in HR analytics, HRIS, Talent and Performance and Employee Engagement. As an HRIS subject matter expert, Kellen has managed complex projects including system implementation, access and content development, and training end-users. She is a driver of department initiatives relating to Organizational Development, Process Improvements, and Employee Engagement Strategy.
In addition to supporting HR Choice clients, Kellen works within the Human Resources team of a privately-held pharmaceutical company in Columbus, OH where she has acquired experience in the bio-pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing, and research science sectors while serving as a community partner to the Chamber of Commerce, local universities, and non-profit organizations. As a Millennial ally in the changing demographic, Kellen offers a unique perspective on HR practices and strategy. She enjoys managing challenging projects, creating a positive and sustainable work environment, and using analytics to capture the results that HR can deliver. Kellen is located in Columbus, Ohio.
Jeff Gorman brings to our clients over 25 years of experience as an owner of an accounting practice providing financial, business and people consulting. He specializes in working with small and mid-sized clients in areas related to workforce planning, compensation and benefits strategy, payroll management and compliance, employee relations and financial and budget planning.
Jeff’s experience of being the “first call” his clients made when they needed to solve a problem, think strategically to move their business forward, or manage their team makes him uniquely qualified for our HR Choice team.
Located in our Southern Colorado office in Colorado Springs, Jeff has a degree in accounting from the University of Colorado - Pueblo.
Judge (Ret.) Mary McClatchy
Mary McClatchey, is a former judge and certified mediator who has successfully settled hundreds of employment disputes. During her fifteen-year judicial career, Judge McClatchey decided and mediated all types of federal and state employment and civil rights claims. She is widely praised by employers, employees, and attorneys for her sense of fairness, her expertise in employment law, and her patience in assuring all parties are fully heard.
Experienced in both facilitative and evaluative dispute resolution methods, McClatchey excels in helping parties move away from fixed positions towards an interests-based approach. She also provides neutral case evaluation (NCE) services for employers seeking an efficient means of assessing the strengths and weaknesses of an employment law claim.
McClatchey is also a seasoned and dynamic workplace trainer. Her state-of-the-art curricula reflect her passion for combining preventive law/compliance goals with organizational culture change.
McClatchey’s prior positions include: Senior Administrative Law Judge for the Colorado State Personnel Board; General Counsel for the Colorado Civil Rights Commission in the Office of the Attorney General; trial attorney in private law firm practice; prosecutor in the Denver City Attorney’s Office; and Co-Founder of the Women’s Leadership Training Institute. She recently studied Human Resources Analytics at the Graduate School of Business at CU Denver and is located in Denver, CO.
Linda J. Edwards, CHRE, SPHR
Located in Phoenix, AZ, Linda Edwards has been in senior Human Resources Management for over twenty years and with HRChoice since 2006. She has worked with such companies as JC Penney’s, Sheraton IT, Ameristar Resorts and Aegis Communications. She also spent seven years as the Corporate Human Resources Consultant for DKEnterprises, a primary Casino Management Group and traveled the country, setting up HR Departments for several Native American tribes during their Casino/Hotel start-ups. Linda is a subject matter expert in employment law, FMLA administration and management “soft skills” training. She is also certified as a third party administrator for Arizona’s E-Verify system and is a certified Arizona Family Court Mediator.
Constance Sevier, CEBS, CMS, GBA, Self-Funded and PPACA Professional
Constance Sevier, CEBS, CMS, GBA, has over 12 years of professional experience in the health insurance industry working for a major health insurance carrier as a renewal account executive, general agency as a sales representative and account manager, account executive and account manager at several major insurance brokerages, and as an independent broker. She enjoys assisting clients with their health insurance and human resource needs. She provides clients guidance on implementing measures to comply with the law and recommends ways for them to continue to offer an affordable and valued benefits package in order to hire and retain high-level employees.
