History of HR Choice

In 1985, Susan Williams founded and established Williams Personnel Management, Inc. in Sacramento, California. The company originally focused on the basic HR needs of small employers, namely policy development, legal compliance and developing employee handbooks.

The relocation of the business to Arizona in 2000 quickly revealed that the small to mid-sized businesses of Arizona needed a much broader spectrum of HR services. Our growth followed naturally as we expanded to address the changing and more complicated HR needs of the businesses we served.

To reflect this exciting growth, the name of the business was changed to HR Choice in 2003 and we shifted our emphasis to include not only the traditional focus on “managing employees and ensuring compliance,” to addressing a more holistic set of “strategic” needs and helping business owners and leaders build sustainable businesses by leveraging their human assets.

Today, HR Choice supports clients nationally with offices in Phoenix, AZ and Denver, CO, offering a broad set of operational and strategic employer services with a fully staffed, skilled and experienced human resources department ready to meet our clients’ needs.
